In today's open session, the first reading of the bill establishing the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education was passed, along with several other bills. Photos of thirty-three martyred representatives were placed in the Majlis, adorned with flowers. Before the agenda, I spoke on the anniversary of the bombing of the Islamic Republican Party headquarters and the martyrdom of the seventy-three individuals.

Before the agenda, I spoke on the anniversary of the bombing of the Islamic Republican Party headquarters and the martyrdom of the seventy-three individuals.
At noon, Messrs. [Seyed Kazem] Akrami [representative of Bahar and Kabudarahang] and [Gholam Abbas] Zaeri [representative of Bandar Abbas] came and expressed concern over the dismissal of Mr. Mozaffarinejad, the appointment of Mr. [Mohsen] Doagoo in the Ministry of Education, and the disagreements between Mr. [Ali Akbar] Parvaresh [Minister of Education] and the educational affairs group.
Mr. [Morteza] Azami Lorestani [representative of Khorramabad] came to complain that he and his relatives were facing suspicion and pressure. He expressed his loyalty to the Islamic Republic; his children have been accused of affiliations with leftist groups. Mr. [Sadegh] Khalkhali asked for help in securing his brother's [Ghafoor Givi] release from prison. I asked Mr. [Mousavi] Ardebili to lead the upcoming Friday prayers.
In the afternoon, the Central Council of the Islamic Republican Party met in my office. A major portion of our time was spent discussing the economic situation and the necessity of focusing on the private sector and boosting trade and the market. The Imam is also concerned about the nationalization of affairs and pressure on the private sector. Mr. [Abdul-Majid] Ma'adikhah stated that a spirit of nationalizing economic affairs prevails within the government, while Prime Minister [Mir-Hossein Mousavi] showed resistance. The atmosphere of the meeting was not aligned with him. They were guests of the Majlis for Iftar.
I returned home at night. The bodyguards' vehicles had collided on the way back. Ahmad Aqa had seen the scene on his way back from the commemoration ceremony for the June 28 martyrs, where he had read the Imam's message; he came late at night and informed me. I became worried, but after looking into it, it turned out that only the vehicles were damaged, and there were no human casualties.
