I stayed in the parliament plenary session until 9:30 in the morning. Mr. [Seyed Hossein] Ghazizadeh Hashemi, the representative of the people of Fariman, came to my office. They had brought money for the front. I participated in the Supreme Council for War Support meeting. Decisions were made.

At noon, members of the Ramadan Headquarters came. There was discussion about employing Iraqi groups against Saddam, and it was decided not to be strict; we should provide them with resources and expect action. So far, they had been strict and did not get work from them.

In the afternoon, the customs managers came and reported on the new facilities. I spoke to them. A group of Army Aviation pilots came and complained about the state of Army Aviation. Our new ambassador to North Korea came and consulted.

Mr. Behzad Nabavi [Minister of Heavy Industries], along with a group who were recently detained in connection with the Prime Minister’s bombing and released by order of the Imam, came. They were complaining about political behaviors and interrogations. Mr. Behzad Nabavi reported the results of his trip to Turkey; he is satisfied. In the evening, we were guests of Ayatollah Khamenei.
