I went to Imam's house in the morning. Ahmad Agha expressed concern. I talked to the doctors. They have started a new treatment. A medical announcement was supposed to be given in such a way that a little concern was seen in it. We visited Imam. They have become very weak. They said they are in pain and have no appetite and are sad. Their voices are very weak.

While I was kissing their forehead and holding their hand, I felt the gentle pressure of their hand. I managed to control myself with difficulty, but I could not stop the tears. I saw a farewell look from the Imam's half-open eyes. I told them that I want to go to Friday prayers, do you have a message for the people? He said, tell the people to pray that God accepts me. He squeezed my throat. In the Friday prayer, I said his message in a gentle way so that people would understand and pray and not cause an explosion. Ahmad Agha was discussed about the leadership and the [constitutional] revision issues. We decided to speed up the completion of the work.

In the evening Dr. Velayati [Minister of Foreign Affairs] came. The Soviets' trip and the extent of relations with them were negotiated. Hajiya Waldeh was our guest today. Dr. Velayati examined him; The blood pressure is high, but they are fine. Brother Ahmad, brother Mohammad and the governor of Kerman also came here today and we had discussions.
