I went to the parliament early in the morning. Some of the representatives believed that it would be better for the parliament to be closed today due to the death of Mr. Rabbani Amlashi, but the majority did not think it was appropriate, so we did not close it. I talked about him before the order and then we went outside the parliament to perform the ceremony. A large crowd had come and almost all the personalities were present. Before the funeral started, I spoke.

The public meeting of the Majlis was held again, but we adjourned at ten o'clock so that anyone who wants to can go to the ceremony in Qom. I stayed in my office until night. Mr. Parhizkar came and said his proposed reforms in the affairs of the parliament departments, and Mr. [Abbas Ali] Zali [Minister of Agriculture] came and asked for help to reduce the pressure of the Agriculture Commission regarding the managers of fertilizers and poisons.

A representative in the parliament published a statement against Ayatollah Khamenei, which was strongly protested by the representatives. In the evening, Mr. Gharehi [Oil Minister] came and gave a report on the work of OPEC. Due to differences of opinion, they could not make a decision [at the OPEC ministerial meeting] and it has been postponed to the next meeting.

Mr. [Abul Qasim] Sarhadizadeh came and asked for help from Sobh Azadegan newspaper to lift the ban. This newspaper has been closed due to not having a publishing license. Mr. Sayad Shirazi announced his readiness to start the operation.
