Engineer [Akbar] Turkan, [Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support] came. He said the report of military industries and weapons purchases and a small amount of foreign currency credits and the slowdown of exchanges with the Russians. Dr. [Hasan] Habibi, [first vice president] came. Political, cultural and economic issues were discussed.
In the evening, the Supreme Council of National Security had a meeting. There was a discussion about Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and America and how we stand against each of them. I arrived home at ten o'clock at night.
