The managers of the welfare organization came. They reported the work and needs. I spoke encouragingly to them. Mr. [Syed Mansour] Razavi, [Secretary General of the Administrative and Employment Organization of the country], came for issues of administrative reforms and government employees' rights. Mr. [Syed Mohammad Kazem] Khansari came and gave the report of his trip to Morocco and Sudan; The Sudanese want oil and the Moroccans want to develop relations.

Messrs. [Syed Hassan] Firouzabadi, [Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces], [Akbar] Turkan, [Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces], [Mohsen] Rezaei and [Mohammad Baqir] Zul Qadr came and told about the severe shortage of riyal credits for the IRGC and the army. It was decided to provide money by exempting some of the surplus soldiers and selling their own currency. In the evening, I did not go to the government meeting and did the work.

Dr. [Mohsen] Nurbakhsh came. In order to use our demand from America, we were allowed to buy goods from them up to five hundred million dollars. I came home in the evening.
