I used to study at home until half past ten in the morning. I went to Tehran University to offer Friday prayers. I delivered the first sermon in the summation of two years' sermons on social justice in the economic dimension and the second sermon on the conference of Islamic countries. Around two o'clock in the afternoon, I reached home as usual. After lunch I rested as usual until four o'clock and then read the reports.

Mr. Mohsen Rezaei and [Ali] Shamkhani came and we discussed about the future operations and affairs in Lebanon. They give the possibility of lack of coordination and lack of necessary cooperation in future operations. I advised them to create unity through cooperation and forgiveness and gain the trust and confidence of the soldiers. They reported about a blow to the counter-revolution in Kurdistan. Then Mr. [Abd al-Majid] Maadikhah came and asked for help for the needs of the Foundation for compiling the history [of the Islamic Revolution]. I did not get the news. Efat also returned from Qom and is grateful for Mr. Montazeri's hospitality.

Ahmad Agha Telefoni suggested that the [Islamic Republic] Party hold a seminar on the scientific and mystical dimensions of the Imam; i liked I brought it up with [Ayatollah] Mr. Khamenei, and he welcomed it and saw it as a sign of Mr. Ahmad's good intentions towards the party.
