I studied at home until eight in the morning. On the way to the parliament, I visited the booth of destructive tools discovered from the subversive counter-revolution and things that our own agents have initiated. I heard from the front. Again, the operation is delayed.

Mr. [Alireza] Moiri, the [political] deputy prime minister came and gave a report about his trip to Türkiye and Cuba. It didn't matter. The prime minister of Cuba and Türkiye initially believed that Iraq has the strength to resist and that the war will not end soon.

Mr. [Ismail] Fadayi, the representative of Arak, came and reported on the front's journey and said that the people of Arak are gradually getting used to the bombings and it has become bearable. The representatives of Tabriz came and demanded to strengthen the defense of this city and they are satisfied with the resistance of the people of Tabriz. The Zahedan representative came with two Zahedan artists. They said about the lack of cultural facilities there. Mr. [Hossein] Mahdian came. He said about the charity of [the late Abolfazl] Tulit and personal affairs and the publishing company [Farhang Islami].

Academics came in the evening. I gave a speech for them. Mr. [Hasan] Ghafouri Fard came.

He consulted about the way to withdraw from the responsibility of the Olympic [National Committee]. Mr. [Abulfazl] Tawakli Bina came and gave a report on the engineering and buildings of the IRGC and asked for help in building houses for the IRGC in Hazira [Shahid Mahalati town]. Recently, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps took these lands from the Mustafafan Foundation with my suggestion and Imam's order.

Mr. [Mohsen] Noorbakhsh came and told about the status of Shahid Beheshti University - he recently became a professor and vice-chancellor there. Today, we did not have a report of Iraqi air raids, and I told the artillery not to fire. I came home at night. Chastity and Fati had gone to the wedding ceremony of a war invalid.
