I was at home. I spent most of my time reading reports. I called the front several times. We were supposed to have a limited operation on Sunday night. Today, the Iraqi attack was repelled from Shalamcheh. The negotiations between the army and the IRGC for the delivery of army equipment have been partially successful. Three Iraqi planes have been shot down. A falcon belonging to the IRGC was targeted, shot down and its occupants were martyred around the Omidiya base. It was probably a mistake by our own defense because it got there when it was red.
Today, several of our cities have been bombed. I told Mr. Rafiq Dost to be more serious about getting a surface-to-surface missile from the Koreans, to deal with hitting cities. He plans to go there on Tuesday.
The anti-aircraft missile site that we got from China has been operational since yesterday in Isfahan and today it fired the first missile. Although it did not hit, it will probably cause panic to the Iraqi MiG-25s, which usually bombed without fear from a height of 70,000 feet. We should be happy that the IRGC personnel were able to operate the missile.
