After the session, the guests met with the representatives, two of them gave speeches, and I also spoke, and it was translated into Arabic and English. The congregational prayer was led by me. They were guests of Parliament for lunch and took some photos. They had been impressed by the simplicity of the representatives.
In the afternoon, I met with several young revolutionary Shiites who sought advice. I also met with Abu Saleh, a member of the Palestinian Parliament who had been expelled for opposing Mr. Yasser Arafat; he was satisfied with our position and was asking for help for his supporters, who had incurred the wrath of Fatah. At night, we held a meeting with the heads of the branches of government in my office and made decisions about announcing freedom of travel and delaying the arrest of another group of counterrevolutionaries. The governor of Isfahan, Mr. Koopaei, also came and raised some problems.
