Mr. Salimi, the Minister of Defense, came and asked me to transfer the leadership of the Imam's Advisory Office from him to someone else; I welcomed it. Mr. Tabatabaei, the head of the Foundation of the Oppressed, came and complained about the Ministry of Housing for not providing land for the fifty thousand houses planned by the Foundation, and presented a plan under which most construction materials would be produced domestically.
The governor of Bushehr and other provincial officials came. They were concerned about the launch of the nuclear power plant and its side effects. Officials from the International Red Cross came and complained about the lack of cooperation from officials in carrying out their duties regarding prisoners of war, and I gave some responses. It was agreed that facilities would be provided.
