After the morning prayer, I read the telexes. The world has to admit our victory in the war, but they discuss the purpose and effects of this victory and itself. There was no movement on the front last night, we have put it to tonight and the enemy has not moved either.

Before noon, we went there anonymously with Dr. [Hasan] Rouhani to investigate the situation of the Omidiye base. We visited all parts of it with Colonel Sadeghi, the commander of the base, and Colonel Sediq [Commander of the Air Force]. It is very wide and has the necessary facilities for flight. We saw an F5 scramble [fighter] and another F5 whose wing was damaged by enemy fire in yesterday's operation. Today they had several operational flights against the enemy from Omidiyeh. They complained about the Basij, who had a small part of the base. There are many such materials about the centers that the institutions took from the army and other old places. Lunch, prayer and rest were done there.

Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei asked about the situation of the fronts on the phone. I said that the enemy did not move today or it was very little. He concentrated most of the air strikes on Majnoon and Hor islands. It seems that they think that the main operation is carried out from there. Satellites and spies have been misled due to the high mobility of our engine and engineering facilities, which is done in order to mislead the enemy. We sent domestic and foreign reporters to Faw area today. We returned to Ahvaz at five in the afternoon. The bombs that were supposed to arrive today are still delayed. We took care of the war affairs in Ahvaz until nine o'clock at night and flew to Tehran. I arrived home at ten o'clock.
