After the prayer, I read the reports until eight o'clock in the morning. Then I participated in the headquarters meeting of Khatam camp. The IRGC and the army announced their future operations plan with a veil in order to preserve information. The problem is the lack of artillery, which I somehow solved. Air defense, helicopters and other things were also distributed. The operation time was determined. It was a good meeting.

At noon, Mr. Hosni Saadi and the deputy of the ground force came. They expressed their displeasure with the division of the artillery and asked for the transfer of the surrogate's daughter from Ahvaz Medical School to Tehran University.

In the evening [Mr. Abdulkarim Kuroma], the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sierra Leone came for a meeting. The talks were general. Dr. Velayati came and asked for the delivery of the lands of the diplomatic settlement [in Abbas Abad, Tehran] for the embassies. Colonel Jalali [Minister of Defense] came and asked for help to buy a truck.

Today, Iraq heavily bombarded the city of Ahvaz and it seems that more than a hundred people were martyred and there was a lot of destruction. Retaliation was ordered. For the first time, the Neka power plant [in Mazandaran province] was bombed, which we thought was unlikely that they would be able to bomb it.

At night, we were supposed to have a meeting with the commanders of the Corps, which was canceled due to lack of need. I stayed in the parliament at night and did the war work and my office work. I have a little fever. The prime minister spoke on the phone with concern about the destruction of the Neka power plant and the bombing of Ahvaz.
