I did things until nine o'clock in the morning. Mr. [Gholamreza] Aghazadeh [Oil Minister] came. He expressed his satisfaction with the price and level of oil sales and consulted and agreed on the claims of two American oil companies, Amaco and Labco, and the reconciliation plan. The next year's budget of the Ministry of Oil was also discussed.

Mr. [Syed Mahmoud] Doa'i [director in charge of information newspaper] came to ask for the importation of an advanced machine for medicine with export currency; I agreed, on the condition that he serve the relief committee. The representatives of the cities of South Khorasan came and asked for the development of this area.

Dr. [Iraj] Fazel [Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education] came and requested for the drug factories. Akhvi Mohammad [Chairman of the Broadcasting Organization] came to lunch and talked about the general issues of the region and inside, and he talked about a proposal from a Saudi prince to resolve the dispute between Iran and Saudi Arabia, as well as the message of Mr. [Hossein] Melaek [Iranian Ambassador to] Switzerland about the possibility of bringing some of the Iranian funds from abroad.

In the evening, the government board had a meeting. [Discussion about] the budget of 2019 started. At night, I participated in the meeting at Mr. Khamenei's shrine [on the anniversary of the death of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH)] and then we had a meeting with Dr. Velayati. Mr. Velayati had some suggestions about foreign policy. Negotiations were held regarding the official of Lebanon's Hezbollah. It was decided to propose reconciliation with Amal and end the conflicts. Then they talked about current events and general policies.
