I reached my office at half past eight in the morning. Mr. [Hamid] Mirzadeh came for current affairs. Mr. [Mohammed] Saidi Kia [Minister of Roads and Transport] came. He said something about the construction of docks, transportation and the need of airports; Decisions were made.

Mr. Mohsen Rezaei came. Reported the trip to North Korea; Satisfied, as usual for travelers. In the evening, Mr. Hashemi [Golpayegani] came to adjust the letter of the Cultural Revolution Council. Mr. Ahmad Jalali came and had information about the situation in the West in relation to Iran. He had political-cultural advice. In the evening, we were supposed to have a meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei and Ahmad Agha, but it was canceled due to Ahmad Agha's absence. I stayed in my office at night.
