I did the backlog. Mr. [Mohammed Hasan] came by boat. He had some remarks about the current affairs of the country regarding advertisements and universities. Mr. [Syed Jalal] Sadatian came. He gave the report of his trip to Australia, New Zealand and South Korea and requested to stay in Tehran and not go to China. He is going to be the ambassador of China. Mr. [Ali] Agha Mohammadi came. He gave a report on the congress of Barzani's Kurdish party and made suggestions for Kurdistan and Iraq and economic issues.

I went to the leadership office to meet the members of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. Before the meeting, we had a short private discussion. In the official meeting, I gave a short speech and he spoke in detail and expressed his opinion that the person in charge of mobilizing the university should be appointed by the IRGC. The Ministry of Medical Sciences does not want. They commented on the selection to be transferred to the government itself. I returned to my office.

In the evening [Mr. Nourbakhsh, Vahaji, Aghazadeh and Adeli] the Ministers of Economy, Commerce, Oil and the Governor of the Central Bank came. We discussed and approved the plan to raise oil production by about 600,000 barrels next year. It was decided to give three hundred and seventy million dollars to the Ministry of Oil for the expenses of this action, and it was decided to start selling currency in the open market again from tomorrow to lower the price of the dollar, and the Ministry of Commerce will withdraw the free entry of spare parts.

In the evening, the Expediency Council had a meeting. We approved the contract to purchase weapons from the Soviet Union. [Assembly members] were my guests for dinner and the meeting ended late. I stayed in my office and worked until half past eleven. It is raining well.
