In the morning, after the prayer, I went to the assembly. I read the reports. Before noon, Mr. [Qurban Ali] Dari [Najafabadi] and the governor of Tehran came. We discussed about Tehran subway. We were supposed to have a meeting next Monday. Mr. [Hasan] Rouhani came and gave a report on the progress of the engineering work and the preparations for future operations. They are about forty days behind the appointed time [to deliver the project]. It was decided to follow up the work quickly.
In the evening, Mr. Mohsen Rezaei and [Ali] Shamkhani came and consulted with Ayatollah Montazeri. We had a meeting of the [Islamic Council] board.
At night, we were guests of the president with other heads of forces. Radio and television programs, the war, the Prime Minister's trip to Turkey and East Germany, taxes, courts, the replacement of Mr. [Asadullah] Lajordi [Tehran Revolution Prosecutor], the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and other matters were discussed. I came to the parliament to sleep. I slept late. Some traces of boredom still remain.
