I worked at home until eight in the morning. At nine o'clock in the parliament, the members of the Lebanese Hezbollah council came to meet me. They were worried about Iran's relationship with Lebanon's Amal Hizbullah, and I emphasized the need for cooperation between Shiites and all Lebanese and Palestinian Muslims, and resolved the differences between Hezbollah and Amal.

I worked at home until eight in the morning. At nine o'clock in the parliament, the members of the Lebanese Hezbollah council came to meet me. They were worried about establishing a relationship between Iran and Lebanon's Amal Hizbullah, and I emphasized the need for Shia and all Lebanese Muslims and Palestinians to cooperate, and I called the differences between Hezbollah and Amal harmful, and I emphasized the need for greater cooperation with Syria, and I said that we do not want to interfere in Lebanon. The Lebanese themselves are a wise and wise people. Of course we help. In this year's budget, two hundred million tomans have been allocated for [aid to] Lebanon.

Mr. Bankdar came from the Ministry of Information. He talked about the dubious points in the Tabas incident and the defeat of the Americans. He said that the purpose of the Americans is unclear, either it was the freedom of the hostages, or it was a coup, or it was to remove or leave something in the Tabas desert, or other things. They make a movie about this issue and these doubts are an obstacle. I gave explanations and presented ways for further research.

On the phone, Mr. Gharehi [Oil Minister] said that the Belgian ship that was attacked yesterday in the Persian Gulf was carrying Iranian oil. I told the Imam's consultation office to take care of it. Mr. [Abdullah] Jasbi came and talked about the development of the Islamic Azad University and talked about the resolution of the Cultural Revolution Council, which deprives some of the university units of degrees and employment qualifications, and also talked about the exemption of students from military service. He asked for help for the construction of the Zargandeh unit and said that 220,000 people have registered for the entrance exam, of which 80,000 are related to the medical exam.

In the evening, I participated in the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, and the selection conditions for entering the medical specialty and associate courses were discussed. In the first case, we decided to give priority to those who have moral qualifications. At night, we had a meeting with Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei and we talked about the future government, we also discussed about the war.

Mr. Rafiq Dost informed by phone that some of the Libyan forces have arrived to set up anti-aircraft missiles and two groups from Syria and Libya have arrived to cooperate in building missiles. He came home at night. [My son] Yaser returned from Khuzestan, he was on the front and south of Majnoon Island, and at night in the front line trench, a mortar [bullet] hit the ground near him.
