I went to the parliament at half past six in the morning. The problem of agreement on the ministers had not been resolved. There are people in the parliament who try not to fix the work of the government ministers so that the cabinet is in trouble. They want the parliament to be closed without the work of the cabinet being completed. I insisted to the Prime Minister and the President [regarding the approval of the proposed ministers] to send the three approved and agreed people to the parliament, and I forbade the representatives from disrupting the work.
Credentials of representatives of Freeman and Gachsaran were discussed. I left the meeting to Mr. Rabbani [Amleshi]. I came to my office and by following up, I finally delivered the Prime Minister's letter introducing the three Ministers of Science, Industry and Health to the Parliament. I discouraged the opposition representatives from disrupting. Immediately, the opposition representatives took another tactic, which hastily brought the ministers to the parliament and they want to use the limited time [of the parliament] and the request of the [supporting] representatives to close the parliament.
In the evening, I participated in the meeting of the central council of the [Islamic Republic] party. Most of the discussion was about the new ministers; The spirit of conservatism dominates the council. At night, we had a meeting of the arbitration council in Ayatollah Khamenei's office, but we mostly talked about the direction and line of the party [Islamic Republic of Iran]. I criticized the exclusion of worthy forces, but we did not reach a tangible result; Although others also accepted that they should not be rejected. At the end of the meeting, I proposed an agreement about the ministers of defense and education to the prime minister and the president, but it did not come to a conclusion. Their tastes conflicted.
I went to the assembly late and slept. The prime minister and the deputy of the central bank asked the parliamentarians in the money and credit council to sign the permission to take out the banknotes. Due to the decrease in currency support, they have found a problem [in the amount of] banknotes. I negotiated [with the representatives of the Money and Credit Council]. It was decided that [the representatives in question] should take the report [of Mr. Mirhossein Mousavi, the Prime Minister and the deputy of the Central Bank on this matter] and act on it. They complained about the non-cooperation of bank officials [with the approvals of the Money and Credit Council] and their inefficiency in attracting people's money.
