I studied a bit at home. I reached my office at nine in the morning. After the office work, the meetings started. Mr. Siros Naseri, Iran's representative at [United Nations European Headquarters in] Geneva, came and brought the proposal of an American official to start negotiations between Iran and the United States. I said, first, America should prove its goodwill in practice and fulfill the agreement they made a few years ago, through the UN Secretary General, regarding Iran's mediation for the release of Western hostages in Lebanon. Regarding the negotiation with Iraq, there was also a negotiation to use this leverage against the Westerners and the Arabs.

Mr. Majid Ansari came. It was claimed that radical forces are purified from devices; I said that this is their claim from four years ago and it is not true; Bring a reason and case that he could not prove. I told him to give a list later. He expressed concern about the elimination of the Guardian Council in the upcoming parliamentary elections and asked for support.
