I know of no other way than to establish a constructive policy to eliminate unemployment.

The leftist forces of the first revolution were exaggerating in the development of cooperatives; unlike the right wing, today, when the leftists have the government and the parliament, they do the opposite.

A group of trade union managers came. Mr. [Alireza] Mahjoub, [Secretary General of the Workers' House], reported and criticized the government's lack of attention to workers' rights as well as the problem of unemployment, and thanked me for my continued support for the workers and the economic prosperity and for reducing the unemployment rate during my presidency from 15.6 percent to 9.1 percent. I also spoke about the value of work and entrepreneurship and the dangers of unemployment, and I explained the effect of constructive policy on job creation, and I praised the role of workers in all periods, and said, "I know of no other way than to implement a constructive policy to eliminate unemployment."

Mr. [Mohammad Mehdi] Mazaheri, [the editor-in-chief of the Javan newspaper] came. He criticized the state of the country's administration and said that the IRGC, which owns the rights of the Javan newspaper, has recently insisted on including the name of the owner of the newspaper in the newspaper and he does not agree. His father was a member of the Republican Party and was left under the rubble when the party exploded and was later rescued. He asked me for help.  

In the evening, Mr. [Ali] Sufi, the Minister of Cooperatives, came with his deputies. They complained about the government's lack of attention to the cooperatives and the fact that they did not pay the approved facilities to the cooperatives, and asked me to support them as the founder of the cooperatives after the revolution and when I was in the Ministry of the Interior. The important thing is that you have to find a way to increase the productivity of cooperatives so that the economic authorities are encouraged to help, and at the moment the return on capital in cooperatives is lower than in the private sector.

Counter-revolutionary radios have published an open letter from Mohsen Sazegara to the Supreme Leader, condemning the Supreme Leader's policies in domestic, foreign, cultural, and economic matters and demanding that the Supreme Leader not prevent people from criticizing the Supreme Leader. He has also been interviewed. This is the first time that such an action has been carried out openly, officially and in name. 

Criticism of the government's policy and weakness on the issue of the Caspian Sea continues, especially the Foreign Minister and the fact that Mr. [Kamal] Kharrazi was inactive at the Ashgabat summit and went to the mouth of the valley and cut off the translation ear during the speeches of other leaders. There is also a lot of criticism of Russia for ordering exercises in the Caspian Sea without paying attention to Iran.

The siege of the Church of the Nativity continued, Israel prevented the fact-finding mission from entering, and the Security Council did not act. Saudi newspapers criticized the U.S. mistreatment of the proposals of the delegation of Emir Abdullah. Popular support for the Palestinians continues worldwide.

The economic crisis in Argentina has become more dangerous, and the Minister of Economy has resigned because his proposal was not approved by Parliament. Banks have been closed for a few days because they cannot respond positively to people's requests to receive savings. The Minister of Economy has suggested that instead of money, securities should be given to the people. Opposition demonstrations have become more widespread. It is also quite clear that the United States and Israel were involved in the Venezuelan coup.
