I went to the parliament at half past nine in the morning. They came from the Law Department for the schedule of the Constitutional Review Board meetings. Mr. [Majid] Ansari and Mr. [Ishaq] Jahangiri came to consult about the Kerman representative candidate and to give some reminders about the amendment of the constitution.

In the evening of the board meeting, we had a review board to review the way of managing the meetings. At five o'clock in the afternoon, the first meeting of the delegation was held in the parliament and several articles of the bylaws were approved. They were the guests of the Majlis iftar.

The night of the meeting of the heads of forces was in my office. They talked about the President's visit to China and the importance of strengthening relations with this country and important economic plans.

I talked on the phone with Mr. [Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, Mohammad Javad Irwani and Behzad Nabavi] Minister of Energy, Minister of Economy and Minister of Heavy Industries about issues of cooperation with the Soviet Union to prepare the ground for the final decision on my trip to this country. I arrived home at ten o'clock at night.

A letter from the imam addressed to Mr. Meshkini [Chairman of the Council of Leadership Experts] was received, who commented that it is not necessary for the leader to be a Marja and it is sufficient for him to be an Adel mujtahid. A number of members of the Council are of the opinion that the reference clause should not be removed, with this letter they will probably change their vote.
