Israel's evil continues in Palestine, and today 18 Palestinians were martyred.

I worked at home and in the office of the palace. We also had rain. I spent a lot of time studying the bill to attract foreign capital, which has been submitted to the Assembly [Expediency Council] with the opposition of the Guardian Council. In order to compile the memoirs [1980; Revolution in Crisis], I read the deliberations of the Majlis on the day after the Iraqi invasion of Iran in 1980.

Israel's wickedness continues in Palestine. Today, 18 Palestinians were martyred.The report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Mary Robinson, about the Jenin refugee camp, has once again shocked the world.  The crimes of the Israeli army in the massacre of people, the destruction of houses, the use of women and soldiers as human shields in operations, the prevention of the transfer of the wounded to the hospital, the prevention of food and water for the people, and the displacement of 5,000 people.  

Today, all over Iran, people gathered around the Red Crescent and Relief Committee's aid collection centers to help the Palestinians. Most of the people of the world are angry, and even in Britain, which is the cradle and base of support for Israel, in an opinion poll, the supporters of Palestine have become twice as pro-Israel. At the same time, [Colin] Powell, the US Secretary of State, says that the Israelis have not committed any crime in Jenin, and the majority leader in the US Congress has said that Israel should not give the West Bank to the Palestinians, and this is Sharon's policy and has introduced Israel as the base of democracy in the Middle East!! Hatred of the United States is gradually spreading because of this injustice.

In New York, an explosion destroys a conservatory, killing and injuring a number of people. In a military barracks in Ankara, Turkey, an explosion of an ammunition depot has also caused many casualties. The FBI has warned that there could be more widespread attacks on chain stores. In the European Parliament, the deputies called on [Jean-Marie] Le Pen, [the French presidential candidate], to go to defend himself. Some American and British newspapers are insidiously trying to link Iran to the Hizb al-Tawhid, which has recently been caught in Germany, and the fighters of Northern Ireland.
