I was at home. I went to the Strategic Research Center [of the Expediency Discernment Council] for about two hours. I reviewed the state of the internet, the library, and the construction of the amphitheater. In the evening, there was a marriage ceremony for the daughter of my brother Mahmoud with Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Marashi Shushtari at our home. A number of relatives from both sides were present. Mr. [Abdollah] Fatemi Nia came to officiate the marriage. We discussed the state of religious seminaries and clerics with him.

Today, Ayatollah Khamenei, in a meeting with the officials of the judiciary on the occasion of Judiciary Week, provided explicit support and a strong defense for the judiciary against the criticisms and pressures from the Second Khordad Front. The reaction to this in foreign media has been extensive. A few days ago, in a meeting with the representatives of the parliament, he acted contrary to this and criticized the parliamentarians. After the session, the representatives privately expressed their dissatisfaction and joked about it, criticizing Mr. [Mahdi] Karrubi, the [Speaker of the Parliament], because he was not mentioned in the meeting. Mr. [Amir] Tehrani, the parliamentary deputy of the Ministry of Intelligence, reported that the representatives and Mr. Karrubi were angry.

There has been a sign of support from the Indonesian army for the opponents of the president. In Macedonia, clashes continue, and there are protests against the government for allowing the Albanian rebels to leave with weapons and resources.
