Full Text of the Daily Memo:

Dr. [Hassan] Habibi came. We discussed responsibilities after serving as First Vice President. He is the head of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature. He expressed concern about the disagreements and actions of the judiciary and the Guardian Council and the state of government operations. He suggested that the Expediency Discernment Council should take the initiative in forming a council to resolve these issues. I agreed with his concerns.

Dr. [Alireza] Marandi and Dr. [Mohammad Hossein] Niknam came. They reported on the work and outcomes of the conference of Muslim doctors in America held in Iran, saying that they were influenced by the situation in Iran and the scientific and technical advancements, especially my opening speech, for which they recorded the tape for publication in America. They sought advice for continuing their work with them; I said that it would be good. Dr. Marandi had reservations about our situation with America. They requested a meeting for a group of doctors. Contrary to Dr. [Iraj] Fazel and his colleagues' opinions, they expressed satisfaction with the selection of [Mr. Massoud Pezeshkian] as the new Minister of Health and Treatment, stating that he is more committed than others who had been mentioned.

Today, as part of a plan to assassinate Palestinian activists, Israel killed [Abu Ali Mustafa], the Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, at his office with a missile, and a wave of protests from the Islamic world against Israel has arisen. Iraq claimed to have shot down an American spy plane in the south, and America admitted that an unmanned reconnaissance plane had not returned from its mission over Iraqi territory.

Last night, unexpectedly, the water at home was cut off, and we faced difficulties.
