Observance of Eid al-Adha Prayer and Studies, Continued Editing of the 1362 Journals

Full Text of the Daily Journal:

We went to Tehran University for the Eid al-Adha prayer. In my sermon, I addressed the anti-Islamic and inhumane policies of the United States. I believe important points were raised. I spent the rest of my time at home studying. I read part of Mr. Ahmad Vaez's book [An Introduction to] Hermeneutics; it is not bad, but the phrasing is more extensive than the content. I prepared a portion of the [book on the records of] 1362 [Calmness and Challenge] for publication.

Israel has announced that it is prepared to refrain from attacking the Palestinians for a week as a gesture towards peace; apparently, internal and external pressures, along with military disobedience, have influenced this decision, and the resistance of the Palestinian people has been found to be unbreakable.

After 11 days of efforts, 100 of the deceased from the [Tupolev] airplane crash in the White Mountain area [of Khorramabad] have been identified. It seems that three out of four Spaniards have still not been identified.

The indictment against Dick Cheney, the Vice President of the United States, by the American Congress is receiving attention in political circles, and the growth of opposition to America's warmongering, particularly from Europe and Canada, is significant. The extent of opposition from the Filipino people regarding the presence of American troops there is also noteworthy.
