Farewell meeting with Ali Suleiman Said, the Kuwaiti ambassador in Tehran.

In continuation of the unusual consultations and specific follow-ups by Masih Mohajeri with Hashemi and Ayatollah Khamenei, which have appeared in the daily entries of previous days and months, this time his meeting with Hashemi, as an advisor to the reformist president, involves criticism of the policies of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, their failure, and criticism of his agreement to investigate the IRIB in response to Sheikh Mahdi Karrubi's proposal. The significant claim that the staff at the office of the leader is also disillusioned with this action and these policies is extremely important and historic.

Interview with the managers and instructors of Baqir al-Ulum University.

Hashemi's account of Sheikh Mahdi Karrubi being criticized in managing the Sixth Parliament.

Full Text of the Daily Entry:

Mr. [Ali Suleiman Said], the Kuwaiti ambassador, came for a farewell visit. He expressed gratitude for the support I provided during the time of Iraq's occupation of Kuwait, stating that the people of Kuwait will never forget those stances and that help. I expressed hope that with the resolution of the issue with the Ba'ath party of Iraq, foreign forces that are in the region under that pretext would leave.

Mr. Masih Mohajeri, [the social advisor to the president and editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper "Jomhouri-e Eslami"], came to visit and stated that the leadership's politics are a failure, and many others do not accept it. He claimed that the reformists are advancing step by step and that the response to Mr. [Mahdi] Karrubi's letter [the Speaker of Parliament] regarding the investigation of the IRIB by the leadership is a clear retreat. He noted that the leadership's staff is also disillusioned and that he is seeking a solution to this situation, expressing his intention to write a detailed letter to the leadership.

In the afternoon, I had an interview with the managers and instructors of the political science department at Baqir al-Ulum University in Qom. I presented the Islamic perspective on politics from a new angle, differing from their usual classroom style, introducing Islam as a complete school with its own worldview, ideology, strategy, tactics, and the presence of Islamic politics in all aspects of human life and society and governance.

In today’s session of the parliament, Mr. [Mahdi] Karrubi, the Speaker, faced strong objections from a group of representatives regarding his manner of commenting on weaknesses and sessions. The reform of the IRIB law has been approved, which will not go unnoticed.

In Macedonia, clashes between Albanian groups and the government have intensified. The visit of Pope [John Paul II, the leader of the world's Catholics] to Ukraine has been met with coldness from Orthodox Christians, despite his apologies for the bad behavior of Catholics.
