Mr. Shahpour Marhaba, the former representative of Astara, came; he is a war veteran from a family of martyrs. He mentioned that he has become housebound as the Ministry of Interior has not provided him with a suitable position; he requested a proper job. He expressed concern about the moral, political, and economic state of society, saying that after the war, you inherited a crisis-ridden country and placed it on a path of stability and progress, and now they have created another crisis.

Mr. Seyyed Mostafa Khatami, the Imam Jom'e, and Mr. Jamaei, the head of the Oshnavieh city council, visited. They thanked me for converting the Oshnavieh district into a city and requested more attention to ethnicities, minorities, and Sunni individuals by employing them in high-level management positions. They also mentioned the limited powers of the council and the need for amending the law. They stated that the dam planned during your presidency for the region has not yet been implemented.

My brother Mohammad, the Executive Assistant to the President, came. He talked about his discussions with Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, the President, regarding the upcoming cabinet, indicating that he thinks there will not be significant changes in the cabinet. Iftah, along with relatives, went to Mashhad for pilgrimage.

Mohsen, the managing director of the Office for the Publication of Revolutionary Knowledge, came with the revised edition of the memoirs from 1982 (post-crisis) which has undergone new modifications after printing.
