Full Diary Text:

I went to the University of Tehran to lead the Friday prayer. I delivered a sermon on moral virtues and human instincts. In the second sermon, I spoke about national power, job creation, Army Day, housing foundations, and issues concerning Palestine. In the afternoon, family members gathered. Mr. Mohsen Hashemian, [CEO of the Cooperative Exporters of Pistachios from Rafsanjan], provided a report on the problems and solutions regarding the pistachio cooperative. He mentioned that currently, the cooperative is losing 500 tomans for each kilogram of pistachios due to management decisions that have led the country into stagnation. He warned that if the future continues in this manner, there will be serious problems for the revolution.

In the evening, Dr. Mo'tamedi, the President of the Marine Sciences Faculty of Azad University, and his wife, who is also a university professor and both have retired, visited. Mr. Seyyed Hossein Marashi, [Hashemi's brother-in-law, the official notary in Tehran], represented the notaries and complained about the Judiciary's decision requiring payment for office expenses through banks, which effectively prevents the collection of additional fees.

Mr. Dr. Saeed Lahouti, [the husband of Fati], mentioned that the liquidity situation of hospitals is poor, leading to a decrease in services provided to patients.

After the crew of the American plane left China, there were verbal attacks between the U.S. and China. The U.S. stated that China must answer for the eleven-day detention of the crew and mentioned that the reconnaissance plane would continue its flights near the Chinese borders. China responded that the violation and encroachment by the U.S. is still an unresolved issue, and the U.S. must be held accountable.

In most Friday sermons today, prayer leaders expressed their support for the arrest of nationalists accused of subversion, objecting to the Parliament, the President, and groups that criticized the Revolutionary Court, indicating that disputes have intensified.
