Meeting with Sediqeh Hashemi and her son to report on their maritime activities.

Full Text of the Daily Notes:

I went to the University of Tehran to lead the Friday prayer. In the second sermon, I criticized the United States and the United Kingdom for their audacity in requesting cooperation from Iran in the fight against terrorism and threatened them with consequences if they did not comply. I also condemned Israel for its compounded oppression of the Palestinians and for misinterpreting my statements on Quds Day.

It was snowing, so I shortened the sermons.

In the evening, Sediqeh's sister came with her son Kazem. Kazem talked about his job in fishing, renting an industrial fishing boat. The boats go alongside the Iranian fishermen to the waters around Yemen and Somalia, purchasing the catch from the fishermen there.

The Taliban in Afghanistan issued a statement in response to U.S. accusations, stating that no one can be more peace-seeking for Afghanistan than the Afghan people themselves. Today, the U.S. transported 20 Al-Qaeda prisoners from Kandahar, shackled, by plane to Guantanamo Bay for imprisonment. Before the flight, armed individuals who had infiltrated the Kandahar airport fired shots at the Americans. Amnesty International has strongly protested this action by the U.S.
