I was at home. I had lunch alone. In the evening, Mohsen and his children came over and brought food. Fati and Saeed [Lahouti] also arrived. We discussed family matters. The sound of mourning groups coming to the Jamaran Hosseiniyeh was almost constant in the house.

The United States has taken a step back against China and announced its regret over the incident involving Chinese aircraft and pilots; however, China insists on an apology, even though it seeks a swift resolution to the crisis.
Israel has announced its intention to force Arabs out of East Jerusalem and has allowed extremist Jews to use the Al-Aqsa Mosque for their ceremonies, which contradicts the Israeli court's opinion. Additionally, another figure from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization has been assassinated. In Lebanon, the disagreement over the presence of the Syrian army has intensified; the Maronites and Druze oppose the presence, while the Shiite Muslims and others support it. Recently, a new party has been formed in alliance with leftists and nationalists that opposes the Syrian military presence in Lebanon.

The UAE has criticized the US policy regarding the Middle East, suggesting that it would be good for the US to include itself and Israel on the list of world terrorists; this explicit criticism seems quite surprising.
