Mr. Saeed Sohrabpour, head of Sharif University of Technology, Mr. Abou Mohammad Mortazavi, the leadership representative, Mr. Mozaffar, and several students came. They stated that the academic condition of this university is excellent, with more than 90% of top scorers in the entrance exam and successful participants in Olympiads coming here. They have no disciplinary issues despite having over 50 student groups and associations due to a good educational environment, and they do not experience chaos or indiscipline. They also have several religious committees in a traditional format. They mentioned that the political spirit in universities is declining and requested assistance for cultural matters.

Mr. Jalil Basharti, head of the Office for Underprivileged Regions of the Presidency, came and brought a report on activities. Mr. Seyed Reza Zowraei, a member of the Guardian Council, also came. He criticized the state of management in the country and the workings of the judiciary, particularly regarding the Shahram Jazayeri case, stating that instead of investigations, the names of the accused are being highlighted, raising concerns about the positive outcomes of the work.

Mr. Hossein Marashi, a representative from Kerman, came and reported that he had a meeting with President Khatami, who was unhappy with Mr. Mahdi Karroubi's statements in the parliament. Khatami himself is also upset and feels completely discouraged about making progress. He is distressed about the lack of coordination with the leadership and mentioned that he has been unhappy for three days prior to the meeting due to the criticisms he has faced. He also stated that two days after the meeting, he was affected by their remarks and is waiting for a suitable opportunity to step back. Tonight, it was reported in the news that Mr. Khatami has suffered from a disk issue again and has canceled several upcoming programs.

In the evening, Mr. Ataollah Mohajerani, head of the Center for Dialogue Among Civilizations, came. He provided a report on matters related to dialogue among civilizations and mentioned that there has been a good reception. He criticized the current situation, especially Mr. Karroubi's statements and Mr. Mohammad Niazi's announcement in the Shahram Jazayeri trial, and requested my intervention to stabilize the country's affairs.

Today, U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld reiterated President George Bush's statements. In Mazar-e Sharif, clashes occurred between two jihadist groups in Afghanistan. The debate between Mr. Karroubi and Mr. Niazi is being widely covered in newspapers.
