Dr. Moein is upset about the many pressures he is facing these days due to the cultural and political situation in the universities.In a meeting with the headquarters for combating economic corruption, he criticized their poor performance. The weakness in the Petropars case and [Shahram] Jazayeri has led to a bad situation; despite all the propaganda and announcements of important individuals' names, it has made the public distrustful.Full text of the daily note:

[Mr. Priiporan Singh Htier], the Ambassador of India, came.  Talks were about collaborative development, and I emphasized to prevent the re -domination of Western colonialism in the region that we should work more, and if we were more active and solved the problem of Afghanistan, it would not have been an excuse for the United States.  I emphasized the necessity of India and Pakistan over the issue of Kashmir and the dangers of engaging two nuclear powers.  I appreciated the role I have in the past to establish good relations between the two countries.

Dr. [Mustafa] Moein has come to the House of Representatives on the new authority of the Ministry of Science, which interferes with the authority of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and rejects the Guardian Council as usual.

I called for more cooperation with Islamic Azad University or the university. 
The era of the Iranians [Mohammad Ahmadi Ghaffari], Imam Jama'at Minab, [Mohammad Reza Amiri, Imam Jama'at] Kohnuj and [Abbas] Abbas, former Hormozgan representative, came to the candidacy of the Assembly of Experts after the death of the late [Mirzam Mohammad].  With the candidacy of Mr. Naimabadi, the Imam Juma'ah [Bandar Abbas] and [Mohammad Hossein] Ahmadi [Faghih Yazdi], the former Imam [Bandar Abbas and Imam's representative in the province] Hormozgan.

[Yasser] Arafat, [Palestinian Authority President], has changed the West Police Commander for satisfying the United States, but a large number of policemen say they will not obey the new commander.  George W. Bush, [US President], has expressed satisfaction with changes in the Arafat government, and Israeli officials have begun negotiating with new Palestinian authorities.  Russia has warned America about attacking Iraq;  These days there are more symptoms than the seriousness of the attack on Iraq.
