  It seems that the United States has not been able to persuade Russia, China and France to reinforce the resolution to attack Iraq.

Full text of the day:

We were at the Latian Dam all day.  It was mainly time to study and walk.  It seems that the United States has failed to persuade Russia, China and France to strengthen the resolution [the UN Security Council to invade Iraq], but [Hans Black], the head of the UN weapons, cannot go to Iraq before the adoption of the new resolution.
