Akbar Hashemi's Memoirs - August 19, 2002

  From the Bureau of Modern Technologies, a report on important nanometer technology, which is a major leap of technology and derives the highest product in nature, and did not answer some of my questions.

Mr. [Mohammad] Saeed Kia, [Mustafa Foundation] and [Mustafa] Miri, [Managing Director of North Tehran Freeway Company] came.  They said they signed a memorandum of understanding with China on the implementation of the North Freeway and sought to approve it in the relevant government centers.  A report on the operation of the Housing Foundation and its future and psychoanalysis programs and said that the agreement with China is only up to the city and should take action for other sectors.  

Mr Mohsen Rezai, the Secretary of the Expediency Council, said that among the second extremists, the issue of resignation is serious and they have a view to transfer their activities to the city councils and, for this purpose, the law in the Majlis is under reform.  There was also negotiations on the Code of Conduct for overall policies.  

Mr [Massoud] Soltanpour, CEO of the Sea Industry Engineering Company, came up with Mahdi for the Ministry of Petroleum and Industries, and the report, and said that the Ministry of Petroleum and Parsoo, despite the new projects.

The era of the men [Mahmoud Reza] Sajjadi, [the head of the technology and innovation cooperation] and [Mehdi] Safari came from the Office of Modern Technology Recruitment. Reporting about important nanometer technology, which is a major leap of technology, and the most sophisticated production of technology.  My questions did not come.  In order to support this very new industry, they sought.  

Mr [Mehdi] Safari, who is a special representative of the Foreign Minister in the Caspian Sea, said that progress in negotiating with Azerbaijan has made Iran's share in the Caspian and your speech yesterday has affected them.

Mr [Javad] Maghsoudi also called the [Tehran] Prayer Staff [Tehran], people have made a lot of contact with your recent Friday sermons and say, the most documentary on US problems that they have heard so far.

It was announced that Israel and part of the Palestinian Authority of Palestinian agreed that Israel would gradually leave the occupied territories.  The Israeli defense minister had previously stated that the Palestinian issue had no military solution.
