Hosseyn Alizadeh criticized the Fajr Music Festival for holding a tribute in his honor.
Today, the Fajr Music Festival's media announced the tribute to Hosseyn Alizadeh and the dedication of tonight's performances, February 25, to him.
Hosseyn Alizadeh responded to this news in a statement:
"My entire pride in Iranian music has always been my absence from the Fajr Music Festival; this festival is formalistic, neither artistic nor up to the standards of art. I do not need any tributes from governmental organizations, and I am always grateful to my aware audience who have unconditionally supported art and artists in all circumstances." / ILNA
