Do not think that I am thinking about my body
I am worried about the cancer of my homeland
If he gets sick, we all do too
When I get sick, I am a body
My homeland is more tired than my body
Understand my pain from my words
I swear to you that from my grief
Don't wait a moment for me
I seek to heal abroad
Not healing my own body

This poem was written by Dr. Mojtabi Kashani, a poet, industrial consultant, and school philanthropist, who died due to cancer.
