عمامه‌پرانی!

This phenomenon, which is known as "turban-throwing" and has become the joy of some opponents, mainly takes the side of clerics who do not have any government positions and maybe critics and even victims of current policies.

What is the position of the mysterious old man who crosses the street on foot, that dropping his turban makes someone happy?

Clergymen who hold high positions in the system usually do not appear in public and if they do, they have the necessary protection and care.

Therefore, this action only takes the side of innocent and defenseless people, whose only crime is wearing an aba, qaba, and turban!

Not long ago, during my trip to Najafabad, Isfahan, I spoke with a very dignified, polite, and kind old cleric who was a critic and victim of the current situation, who told me about his experience of confronting protesters in the street. Facing the protesting crowd, he raised his hands as a sign of surrender and said; By God, I am not a government mullah! Of course, the protesters had treated him with respect.
Why don't fair and tolerant intellectuals warn about these phenomena?
