On the 14th of Shahrivar 1358 (September 5, 1979), Ayatollah Khomeini spoke in various meetings and speeches about the country's situation, the revolution, and the concept of martyrdom.

In one of these meetings, he spoke with the personnel of the Shemiranat Committee about the victory of the revolution and the role of the people. In another meeting, he gave a speech to the doctors and staff of medical centers in Isfahan about social and cultural issues of the country.

This day occurred during a period when less than seven months had passed since the revolution's victory, and the country was facing a series of political, security, and social crises.
