The formation of Mohammad Ali Foroughi's government during the days of the occupation of Iran.

Only two days after the start of the attack by British and Soviet forces on Iran, the government of Ali Mansour fell, and Mohammad Ali Foroughi was tasked with forming a new cabinet.

Foroughi took over the government at a time when the country was under military pressure from the Allies, and the future of Reza Shah's reign was shrouded in ambiguity. In the following weeks, the new government entered into difficult negotiations with Britain and the Soviet Union. Foroughi ultimately played an important role in the transfer of the throne from Reza Shah to Mohammad Reza Shah.
