On the 5th of Shahrivar 1395 (August 26, 2016), Davoud Rashidi, a prominent actor of Iranian theater, cinema, and television, passed away at the age of 83.
Born on the 25th of Tir 1312 (July 16, 1933) in Tehran, he appeared in many important works across Iranian cinema, theater, and television over several decades.
His passing was confirmed by his family on the same day. Rashidi died at home due to cardiac arrest.
